This expedition is based in the picturesque villages of Bahoi, Bulutui, and Tarabitan, promising a unique blend of scientific discovery and cultural immersion.
To join the Wallacea Expeditions in North Minahasa, Sulawesi, Indonesia, volunteers must arrange their own travel to Manado. The nearest international entry point is Sam Ratulangi International Airport (MDC) in Manado, which has connections to several national and international airports. Once in Manado, our Wallacea Expeditions staff will meet you either at the airport or at your accommodation in the city and transport you to our local partner homestay in Bahoi.
